The World Organization for Development (WOD) is an international non-governmental organization with special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (2014), Member of the United Nations Global Compact (2016).
In July 2014, the United Nations Economic and Social Council, in accordance with Article 71 of the Charter of the United Nations, of the United Nations Non-Governmental Organizations, unanimously voted by the states the United Nations, granted the World Organization for Development, a special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.
